Terms

These Terms govern your use of the HiGod website and, when available, the HiGod iPhone app. By using HiGod, you agree to these Terms.

HiGod is preparing for launch. App-specific sections describe intended launch terms and may be updated before the app is generally available. The final legal operator, mailing address, governing law, venue, and any arbitration terms will be completed after legal review and before paid app launch.

About HiGod

HiGod is a prayer, devotional reflection, and AI-assisted companion experience. It is designed to support private reflection, daily spiritual practice, and respectful faith-aware conversation.

HiGod is not God, clergy, a religious authority, an official representative of any religious institution, a therapist, a doctor, a lawyer, an abuse intervention service, an emergency service, or a crisis response service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use HiGod. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use HiGod only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. HiGod is not directed to children under 13.

Accounts

Some features may require an account, Sign in with Apple, iCloud, or another authentication method. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, devices, and account recovery methods secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Spiritual and Professional Limits

HiGod may support prayer, reflection, scripture-adjacent discussion, devotional habits, and calm next steps. HiGod does not provide final religious interpretation, official teaching, confession, pastoral direction, professional counseling, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or safety planning.

Do not rely on HiGod as your only source of support for spiritual, emotional, medical, legal, financial, abuse, or safety decisions. For personal, pastoral, clinical, legal, or urgent matters, contact a qualified human professional, trusted community member, clergy member, emergency service, or local support organization as appropriate.

Emergencies and Crisis Situations

Do not use HiGod for emergencies. If you may harm yourself or someone else, if someone else may harm you, or if you need urgent medical, mental health, safety, or abuse-related help, call emergency services or a local crisis resource immediately. If you are in the United States, you can call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

AI-Assisted Features

HiGod may include AI-assisted prayer, reflection, chat, recommendation, or safety-routing features. AI outputs can be incomplete, outdated, inappropriate, or wrong. You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on them, sharing them, or taking action based on them.

AI features must not be understood as divine communication, religious authority, human clergy, therapy, diagnosis, legal advice, or emergency response. HiGod may label AI features, limit certain outputs, route safety-related messages differently, or refuse requests that create risk or violate these Terms.

Your Content

You keep ownership of prayer text, reflection text, chat messages, support messages, and other content you submit to HiGod. You grant HiGod a limited, worldwide, nonexclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, adapt for technical formatting, and otherwise use your content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support HiGod; provide AI-assisted features; comply with law; and enforce these Terms.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to submit, content that violates law, content that exploits or harms others, or unnecessary sensitive information about other people. If HiGod later offers sharing, community, or export features, you are responsible for choosing what to share and with whom.

Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse HiGod, interfere with the service, or bypass security.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attack HiGod systems.
• Do not use HiGod to harass, exploit, threaten, impersonate, or harm others.
• Do not submit unlawful, abusive, sexual exploitation, or violent content.
• Do not use HiGod to generate deceptive religious authority claims.
• Do not use HiGod to develop competing AI models or automated datasets.

Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

HiGod may offer free features and paid features through auto-renewable subscriptions, free trials, introductory offers, or other in-app purchases. Paid features may include deeper companion access, guided prayer libraries, reflection history, reminders, personalization, or other premium functionality described at purchase.

If you purchase through the App Store, payment will be charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the disclosed price unless you cancel before the trial ends. Prices, subscription periods, included features, and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple unless applicable law requires otherwise. HiGod subscriptions are not donations, and payment does not improve divine access, spiritual worth, or emergency support.

Third-Party Services

HiGod may rely on third-party services such as Apple, iCloud, App Store purchase systems, AI providers, analytics providers, paywall providers, support providers, hosting providers, notification services, and crash diagnostics providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual Property

HiGod, including the website, app, software, design, brand, text, graphics, generated interface elements, and other materials, is owned by HiGod or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of HiGod intellectual property.

Feedback

If you send feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant HiGod the right to use them without restriction or compensation. Do not send confidential information as feedback unless a separate written agreement applies.

Changes and Availability

HiGod may change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, pricing, subscriptions, eligibility, or availability over time. Material changes to paid subscriptions will be handled through the App Store or other required notices. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date.

Termination

You may stop using HiGod at any time. HiGod may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for HiGod or others, misuse the service, fail to pay applicable fees, or if legal, platform, security, or operational reasons require it. Termination does not limit rights or obligations that should reasonably survive.

Disclaimers

HiGod is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, HiGod disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and spiritual, emotional, or professional outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HiGod and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or spiritual, emotional, professional, or safety outcomes arising from or related to your use of HiGod.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnity

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold HiGod harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of HiGod, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Disputes and Governing Law

Before bringing a claim, please contact support@higod.app so we can try to resolve the issue informally. The final governing law, venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, jury waiver, small-claims, and opt-out language will be added after legal review and before paid app launch. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your location may still apply.
